PITI, Guam – Commander, Submarine Squadron (CSS) 15 will hold a change of command ceremony July 2 at Bravo Wharf on U.S. Naval Base Guam.

During this time-honored Navy tradition, Capt. Jeffrey Grimes will relieve Capt. Scott Minium as commodore of the submarine squadron. Grimes reported to CSS-15 in February 2013 as the deputy of operations. Minium heads to his next duty station at Chief of Naval Operations Strategic Studies Group in Newport, R.I.

The ceremony guest speaker will be Rear Adm. Phillip Sawyer, commander of Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet.

CSS-15 provides maintenance, training, logistics and administration support for the submarines assigned to U.S. 7th Fleet.
