ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam  -- The 36th Medical Group is the primary source of health care at Andersen Air Force Base.

The medical group is not a hospital and does not have an urgent care center or an emergency room. If there is an emergency or threat to a life, limb or eyesight, proceed to Guam Navy Hospital or Guam Memorial Hospital.

TRICARE members must call International SOS before or no later than 24 hours after a visit to an emergency room.

If there is an urgent issue or if members are not sure, call TRICARE and ask for the nurse line. If given urgent care authorization, proceed to American Medical Center on 1244 North Marine Corps Dr., (671) 647-8262 or FHP Health Center on 548 South Marine Corps Dr. (671) 646-5825.

After the visit, be sure to make a follow-up appointment the next duty day with your primary care provider. For more information, contact the clinic at 366-WELL (9355), or contact your PCM.
