Navy seeking help identifying attackers of 6 sailors in Guam

TUMON, Guam – Six Sailors reported they were assaulted by unknown perpetrators while in Tumon near the Acanta Mall Nov. 16.

The Sailors were allegedly approached by a large group of individuals who assaulted them with bats, clubs and pipes.

The Sailors were treated at U.S. Naval Hospital Guam for various lacerations and injuries and later released to their commands.

Anyone with information that could lead to the apprehension of the alleged perpetrators is asked to contact the Naval Criminal Investigative Service at 339-7220, Guam Police Department Tamuning-Tumon Precinct at 649-6330 or Crime Stoppers at 477-4357.
