Tops In Blue to perform at Andersen AFB
10/24/2012 - ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- The U.S. Air Force's premier entertainment showcase of music, dance and comedy, performed by Airmen, is scheduled to take place on base Thursday, Nov. 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
As the exact location of the on-base event is still in the works, Team Andersen military members, spouses and children can expect an evening of the Air Force's finest entertainment. Admission to the event is free, and information regarding parking will be available upon determination of the location of the event. Tops In Blue is an all-active duty USAF special unit made up of talented amateur performers selected for their entertainment abilities. Composed of 35 to 40 of the most talented vocalists, musicians, dancers and technicians, their primary purpose is to perform for military personnel and their families throughout the world.
During each annual tour, Tops In Blue entertains more than 250,000 military personnel and their families, presenting an average of 120 performances at 100 locations worldwide. The showcase is presented throughout the continental United States, Canada, Europe, Central America, Alaska and the Pacific.
