Have you ever thought what it would be like to be in the shoes of a military child? There are many pros and cons to being a military brat. As a military child we can travel into certain places, we travel for sports; we have an easy school with great teachers that help us very well to succeed in school. the cons of being a military child would be one of the things that I have always hated, moving. Moving destroys a lot of things; it can ruin a friendship and relationship. In my situation, I will have to move at the end of my junior and attend a new school for my senior year. That is just unbelievable for me.

Ever traveled 400+ miles on a bus for a sport? Ever gotten a hotel room and stayed over the weekend? This is one of my favorite things about living in japan and attending a school in DoDDS. If you play sports and you just happen to live in the middle of nowhere, you get to get on the bus the day before the event and spend time bonding with your team and attend the event. It is one of the best things ever, although I'm done with sports as a mighty Edgren Eagle.

Whe you are living overseas you can use Space A and travel to many different places for a low cost. May people in the U.S. would not be able to do this and explore the world.

Ever been worried and stressed out because your father is serving the country and has a chance that he can be attacked at any moment? Things in the house are pretty stressful because I only have my mother and sometimes she's too busy to do things with me. One of the most stressful things would be moving. Having to leave my friends that I made and grew up with is a pretty terrible feeling. You end up having to make new friends and lose contact with your old friends. I really would love to be able to graduate here. Overall, it is amazing to be a military child and the pros definitely outweigh the cons.
