GCC students welcomed exchange students from Baekseok University in Cheonan City, South Korea, to Guam Community College on July 31 as part of the Immersion program between GCC and Baekseok. Both higher education institutions have tourism-related programs. The students from Baekseok will spend four weeks on Guam learning English and the Chamorro culture. GCC students spent two weeks last month in Korea learning Korean and experiencing the Korean culture.
