Quality Distributors currently lead league standings with a 3-1 record after two weeks, followed by defending champions Crushers FC at 2-2. Strykers FC (2-2) and Doosan FC (1-3) are in third and fourth, respectively moving into the final week of double round-robin matches.

The Crushers went two-for-two in Week 2 to sneak into the No. 2 position in league standings, first defeating Doosan FC 8-4. Justin Samonte scored a hat trick in the win and teammates Tyler Guyton, Albert Toves, Ryan Shipman, Jonathan Guerrero, and Joshua Cepeda also scored for the Crushers. Anthony Manibusan scored twice for Doosan and teammates Allan Angoco and Thomas Medler also scored.

The Crushers later defeated a shorthanded Strykers team in the last match of the day, 15-2. Tyler Guyton scored five goals and teammate Albert Toves scored four in the win. Justin Samonte and Jonathan Guerrero each scored twice and teammates Ryan Shipman and Sho Hammond also scored for the Crushers. Francis Chargualaf scored both of the Strykers’ goals.

The Strykers, only playing with three players, also dropped its earlier match, a 13-1 loss to league leaders Quality Distributors. RC Salas, Jan-Willem Staman, Joshua Mendiola, Paul Long, James Bush, and Kevin Knaeble all scored in the win for Quality. Francis Chargualaf scored the Strykers’ lone goal in the contest.

Doosan FC earned its first win of the season with a 7-2 victory over the previously undefeated Quality team. Cameron Lunod led all scorers with four goals and Thomas Medler added two. Allan Angoco also scored for the winning team. Jan-Willem Staman and Scott Leon Guerrero scored for Quality.
