GCC CACGP College Access and Community Resources Fair Feb. 27
Guam residents that want their child(ren) to attend college but are unsure of how to go about the process or how to afford college should attend the GCC CACGP College Access and Community Resources Fair on Saturday, February 27th, from 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. in the Micronesia Mall Center Court. This fair is sponsored by the GCC College Access Challenge Grant Program and its community partners. At the College Access and Community Resources Fair, students and parents will learn about the GCC College Access Challenge Grant Program’s FREE services, including tutoring, admissions and financial aid assistance, and community resources that can help students prepare for and afford to attend college. Information on GCC’s postsecondary programs will also be available.
IMPORTANT: At the fair, students and their families can apply for the $1,000 grant aid program that helps them attend college at a U.S. accredited institution on or off-island. The current grant aid application has been extended to February 29th, so if you are a student enrolled in college who graduated from high school in 2009 or sooner, you can apply and get up to $1000 to help you pay for your current semester expenses or to help you continue on with your studies during the summer session.
