ASAN, Guam (Mar. 2, 2015) – Military leaders will host the first-ever Guam Joint Military Women’s Leadership Symposium at the Sheraton Laguna Resort on March 5.

The symposium is the only joint training event on Guam dedicated to providing service members professional development through networking, education and mentorship.

The event will go from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and include presentations, panel discussions and mentoring sessions for both male and female service members. Local leaders including Rear Adm. Cari Thomas, Commander U.S. Coast Guard District 14, Rear Adm. Bette Bolivar, Commander Joint Region Marianas and Lt. Col. Ester Aguigui, Commander Guam Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion, will be participating.
