PORT HEAVY WEATHER CONDITION WHISKEY SET FOR GUAM

Santa Rita, GU — On October 6, 2014 U. S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port (COTP) Guam has established port heavy weather condition (PHWC) Whiskey for the ports of Guam and Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI).

The hazardous conditions associated with Typhoon Vongfong/19W no longer threatened the ports of Guam and CNMI. Therefore, the COTP has set PHWC Whiskey as of 10:00 am, October 6, 2014.

Accordingly, the port of Guam and CNMI are hereby open to all commercial vessel traffic and cargo operations.
