GUAM (September 9, 2017) - Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Tyler Johnson, from Saltsburg, Penn., removes chains in order to transport the brow to the pier before getting underway on the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48). Ashland was in Guam for a scheduled voyage repair availability (VRAV) availability while Marines attached to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit conducted unit level training ashore.
