Coast Guard stands up area command for Pacific storm response

Capt. Prince Neal, chief of planning Coast Guard 14th District, serves as the area commander for the Coast Guard response and recovery for Typhoon Mangkhut in Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and Hurricane Olivia in Hawaii Sept. 10, 2018. A very active hurricane season has crews working proactively with federal, state, and local partners.
