EODMU-5 conduct Mk 16 Rebreather Training

Naval Base Guam, Guam (Oct. 01, 2018) - Lt. j.g. Morgan Robinson, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 5 (EODMU-5), participates in a Mk 16 Mod 1 closed-circuit rebreather certification at Naval Base Guam. EODMU5 conducts counter IED operations, renders safe explosive hazards and disarms underwater explosives. EODMU-5 is assigned to Commander, Task Force 75, the primary expeditionary task force responsible for the planning and execution of coastal riverine operations, explosive ordnance disposal, diving engineering and construction, and underwater construction in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
