Valiant Shield 16: Mechanized Raid

In order to gain operationally significant terrain, Marines stormed the beach for follow on operations as part of island seizure for the exercise. VS16 is a U.S.-only, biennial field training exercise focused on integration of joint training in a blue-water environment among U.S. forces.
