Ha'anen Familia (Family Day): A Guam Museum Tree-Trimming Party
Saturday, December 15th: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm; Multipurpose Room
Join us for Ha’anen Familia for not one but two holiday inspired acitivities and help the Guam Museum decorate its Christmas Trees!
• "Get Your Paint On!" (10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) Join our Museum Staff as we paint laser carved wood ornaments designed by artist Ron Castro of Island Icons.
• "Tinifok para Inadotdan Trongkon Noche Buena" (12:00 - 2:00 p.m.) Master Weaver Siñot Joe "Dagu" Babauta and his CM-201 students from the University of Guam will demonstrate weaving Christmas trees ornaments. Learn from one of the best practitioners of this important cultural tradition.

Peace Festival 2018
Christmas is one of the most important religious holidays of the Christian calendar and one of the most festive occasions celebrated on Guam. Hosted by the Department of Chamorro Affairs, the annual Peace Festival is a great way to get into the spirit of Christmas and for remembering the “reason for the season.” This year's events will include a Christmas light display from the Guam Museum to the Chamorro Village, as well as holiday performances at the Guam Museum Outdoor Stage.
