FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Temporary waterway restrictions will be in effect for the Rota Banks near Mason Live Fire Training Complex located at Ritidian Point, on June 30 and July 1 in support of a live-fire training exercise.
These security and safety measures are necessary to ensure the safety of both local mariners and military personnel during scheduled live-fire training. Public access to the designated areas listed below will be restricted from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 30 and July 1. All maritime traffic is required to remain clear of the restricted areas during this period.
The U.S. military appreciates the community’s patience, understanding, and cooperation as we conduct this important training safely and responsibly.
