Employees raise over 2 thousand dollars in 3 days for Lombok Earthquake Relief
(Tumon, Guam September 2018) - The Indonesian island of Lombok was recently rocked by a magnitude 7 earthquake wreaking havoc for thousands of residents and families.
With employees of Dusit’s partners among those affected by this terrible tragedy, Dusit Thani Guam Resort immediately sprang into action to lend its support with fundraising efforts that amounted to over 2 thousand dollars in just three days.
Leading the fundraising efforts was the Engineering Department who combined their creativity and resources to up-cycle an old cart into a money-making bake sale on wheels. Complete with menu items and décor it was a sweet success in the face of desperate times.
The funds were sent to Dusit International Corporate Office and Dusit Thani Guam Resort extends heartfelt sentiments to all those affected.
