EODMU-5, Royal Thai Navy conduct waterborne improvised explosive device knowledge exchange during CARAT Thailand 2019

SATTAHIP NAVAL BASE, Thailand (June 4, 2019) - Sailors assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5 transport a dive boat after conducting a waterborne improvised explosive device knowledge exchange with members of the Royal Thai Navy Diver and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Center during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Thailand 2019. This year marks the 25th iteration of CARAT, a multinational exercise series designed to enhance U.S. and partner navies' abilities to operate together in response to traditional and non-traditional maritime security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
