Flag Raising Ceremony honors Veterans from the Judiciary of Guam

Monday, May 7th, 2018 (Hagatna, Guam) - This morning a flag raising ceremony was held at the Guam Congress Building, honoring Veterans from the Judiciary of Guam. The ceremony concluded Law Week festivities and included a special pin ceremony by the courts.

According to Shawn Gumataotao, Director of Policy Planning and Community Relations for the Guam courts, there are approximately 74 employees from the Judiciary of Guam who are Veterans or current members of the military.

The inaugural Veterans Commemoration Flag Raising Ceremony was held in November of last year. The next flag raising ceremony is slated for Monday, June 4th, 2018.
