ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- Whenever you walk into a restaurant or store on Guam, you'll usually find a "Hafa adai" waiting for you on the other side of the door. For the last two weeks, Andersen Air Force Base and the rest of Guam gave this bright welcome to members of the 35th Fighter Wing in the midst of exercise COPE NORTH 2018 at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.

The 14th Fighter Squadron and its associated Aircraft Maintenance Unit joined 20 other flying units in this exercise, which focused on humanitarian assistance and disaster relief training. This exercise also consisted of aerial and force employment events designed to increase readiness among allied nations.

Exercise COPE NORTH started Feb. 14 and concluded Mar. 2.
