Hagatna, Guam – The Guam Legislature Christmas display, Parade of Christmas Trees, is now open. Speaker Tina Rose Muña Barnes, along with the Committee on Rules Chairwoman, Senator Regine Biscoe Lee would like to invite the public to visit their Guam Legislature from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday until Jan. 6, 2020.
Each Senatorial office was asked to partner with local non-profits to raise awareness regarding their respective outreach efforts. "As another season of faith, hope, and love begins, it warms my heart to see our legislative family come together to spread Christmas cheer and to shine the spotlight on some of our wonderful community organizations” stated Senator Biscoe Lee. She adds “I hope the spirit of giving continues into the new year, and pray that the holidays we are celebrating inspire us to be generous with our love to friends and strangers alike."
“Given that this holiday is about coming together in peace and fellowship, it warms my heart to see our community come together to do just that for all that call Guam home” stated Speaker Tina Rose Muña Barnes. “I really want to commend and thank these organizations for their tireless efforts in spreading the holiday spirit” concluded Speaker Muña Barnes.
