Jack in the Box brings food truck flavors to Guam
DEDEDO, GU (Feb. 26, 2018) — Jack in the Box heard the demands for delicious street grinds and answered the call when Jack recently unveiled its new Food Truck Series — Asian Fried Chicken Sandwich, Prime Rib Cheesesteak and Pork Belly BLT.
The all new Jack in the Box Food Truck Series is anything but ordinary. Inspired by bánh mì sandwiches, the limited-edition offerings are served on Jack’s new rice flour toasted baguette. With Guam’s love of Asian food and the popularity of Vietnamese bánh mì sandwiches, this new menu appeals to both locals and visitors alike.
The Asian Fried Chicken Sandwich brings together crispy all-white-meat chicken strips, Asian slaw, cucumbers, and Gochujang mayo. The Prime Rib Cheesesteak is simmered in garlic butter and melted provolone cheese. The Pork Belly BLT marries two slabs of seared pork belly with tangy honey aioli, green leaf lettuce and tomatoes.
Jack in the Box Guam also serves up a special “underground” item not on the regular menu. Exclusive to the islands is a Pork Belly Bowl with Fried Rice that you have to ask for. Only available in Guam and Hawaii, Jack’s flavorful fried rice made with Portuguese sausage, Spam, eggs, and seasoning from Hawaii’s Noh Foods turns epic, when topped with seared pork belly.
