TAMUNING, GUAM — Junior Achievement of Guam, Inc. and Pacific AI Media & Communications officially signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding on August 5, 2026, at the GTA Experience Center Conference Room in Tamuning.

The partnership will expand access to educational programming, mentorship, and workforce development opportunities designed to prepare Guam’s students for success in an increasingly technology-driven global economy.

Through the agreement, Pacific AI Media & Communications will support Junior Achievement Guam programs by providing experienced professionals to serve as mentors, instructors, facilitators, guest speakers, judges, and industry experts. Students will receive practical learning experiences in areas such as artificial intelligence, data science, entrepreneurship, business innovation, digital communication, emerging technologies, career readiness, and public speaking.

“This partnership allows us to introduce students to rapidly growing industries while helping them develop the leadership, communication, and entrepreneurial skills needed for their futures,” said Joshua Miller, Executive Director of Junior Achievement Guam. “By connecting students with professionals who are actively working in these fields, we can make their learning more relevant, practical, and meaningful.”

The collaboration will also support programs such as Success Through AI Mastery, Data Science, and JA Pitch Master, along with additional workshops, classroom sessions, competitions, conferences, career events, and other youth development initiatives.

“We are excited to help Guam’s students learn to use these tools with their values intact while also discerning when to use AI. That means understanding which data matters, where their data goes, who benefits from it, and most importantly how to protect what belongs to our community,” said Marissa Eusebio Borja, Founder of Pacific AI Media & Communications.

“I especially want to empower our young women because the decisions being made about AI will benefit from a balanced perspective which requires immersion and application.”

A major focus of the partnership will be responsible and ethical technology use. Programming will help students understand topics such as artificial intelligence bias, privacy, cybersecurity, misinformation, intellectual property, academic integrity, and responsible digital citizenship.

All Pacific AI representatives working directly with students will complete Junior Achievement Guam’s volunteer registration, orientation, training, youth protection, and compliance requirements.

The agreement reflects both organizations’ shared commitment to preparing Guam’s young people for future educational, entrepreneurial, and career opportunities through experiential learning and meaningful industry engagement.
