ASAN, Guam (Oct. 6, 2015) – In celebration of the U.S. Navy’s 240th birthday, the public is invited to attend Military Day at the Micronesia Mall center court and gallery from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 9.

Approximately 20 military units from the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Army and Coast Guard will have displays to showcase their capabilities and mission to protect the United States and its allies.

Throughout the day, people can look forward to various stage activities such as demonstrations of a military drone, military working dogs, explosive ordnance disposal robots and energy conservation tips. The community can get their blood pressure read at the Navy and Air Force medical exhibits, and meet with health and welfare personnel as well as military recruiters. There will also be a Coast Guard rescue boat, Seabee wrecker and an Air Force bobtail tow support vehicle and generator set on display in the gallery located next to the side entrance of Macy’s.
