SANTA RITA, Guam (July 6, 2017) - Navy Munitions Command Pacific East Asia Division Unit Guam held a change of command ceremony at Kilo Wharf on U.S. Naval Base Guam July 6.

Cmdr. Christopher Haden was relieved by Cmdr. Daryl G. Adamson. Haden assumed command in July 2015. The munitions command Guam unit safely and professionally delivers effective ordnance to the warfighter on time. They are responsible for the proper accounting, safety and intermediate maintenance of Tomahawk missile, MK 46 torpedo, and underwater mine pre-positioned war reserve stockpiles. They provide ordnance management for waterfront loading and transshipment operations in support of fleet units and operational forces in the Pacific Fleet Area of Responsibility. During the ceremony, the guest speaker was Capt. Peter Yelle, commanding officer of Navy Munitions Pacific Command East Asia Division.
