U.S. Navy

ASAN, Guam – The Navy Recruiting Station Guam will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Feb. 1 at 11 a.m. at the Guam Capital Investment Corp. (GCIC) building military recruiting annex in Hagåtña.

The Navy recruiting station closed in October 2015 for renovations and recently reopened its doors. Prior to the renovation, the enlisted and officer candidate offices were located separately. Now those interested in learning more about the various Navy career programs can do so at a one-stop shop.

During the ceremony, Rear Adm. Bette Bolivar, Commander, Joint Region Marianas, and Cmdr. Michael Lee, with Navy Recruiting District Los Angeles, will deliver remarks.

For more information, contact the Joint Region Marianas Public Affairs Office at (671) 349-4055/3209.
