Navy revises Public Input Dates on Training and Testing Supplemental Environmental Impact Analysis

ASAN, Guam (July 31, 2017) – The U.S. Navy has revised the Public Input opportunity to Aug. 1 - Sept. 15 for comments regarding the Training and Testing Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Mariana Island Training and Testing (MITT) area previously announced to begin July 28.

Because of the date change of the official public comment period, comments submitted July 28-31 will still be accepted. Comments must be postmarked or received online by Sept. 15, 2017, Chamorro Standard Time (ChST), for consideration in the development of the Draft Supplemental EIS/OEIS. All comments submitted during the 45-day public comment period will become part of the public record. Comments may be submitted online at:, or by mail to:
