Pieology, the creator of personally-inspired pizzas, pledges to donate proceeds from purchases made by military personnel and their families to the United Service Organizations in Guam.

Beginning July 24, Pieology’s Guam locations will be donating 10% of its proceeds from purchases made by military personnel and their families to USO Guam, in an effort to say ‘thank you’ to the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. This corporate partnership is the first of its kind on the island, connecting Guam’s community of Pieology lovers with their local USO.

“We know from our USO guests how much they enjoy the Pieology experience on Guam, and appreciate this innovative idea from Pieology to link its military customers with the USO that loves and appreciates them so much,” said Leigh Leilani Graham, USO Guam Area Director. “The corporate generosity this offering represents is indicative of the widespread support USO Guam receives from companies and individuals throughout the island, allowing USO Guam to become the island’s destination of choice in connecting service members with family, home and country.”

Prior to this partnership, Pieology’s Guam locations offered a discount to American service members and their dependents, but Richard Hart, president and principal franchisee of Progressive Pies LLC, felt that Pieology could do more.

“We are very excited to begin this promotion and honored that an organization that is as well-respected we felt we could do more. With this program, we can donate actual money to a great organization that has proudly served so many military members and their families over the years here in Guam.”

Award-winning Pieology has been dishing out delicious hand-crafted pizzas since 2011, growing from a simple idea to bring creativity back to pizza that now encompasses over 100 stores across the nation. In addition to serving up delicious pizza, Pieology is committed to making a positive difference in the community it serves. “As members of the Guam business community, we have a duty to support those who support us when we need it the most: the brave men and women of our Armed Forces,” said Hart. “This is the least we can do to say ‘thank you’ to them.”

Guam residents and visitors can experience the unbeatable flavor and service for themselves at one of the islands two locations open seven days a week at 341 Chalan San Antonio in Tamuning or at 131 Macheche Avenue, Suite 100 in Dededo.
