[MAITE, GUAM] – Raymond James of Guam continues to demonstrate its long-term commitment to Micronesia through the hosting of its 2nd Annual Micronesia Investment & Retirement Plans Conference, connecting global financial leaders, industry experts, and local clients for two days of insight and connection.

Held at the Hyatt Regency Guam, the two-day conference welcomed over 150 clients from Guam and across Micronesia. On the first day, clients participated in a “Back to Basics” pre-conference hosted by Asia Pacific Group of Raymond James, and a longevity-focused session hosted by David Beaver & Associates of Raymond James, providing groundwork for long-term financial planning. The second day expanded into a full-scale conference, connecting Guam-based clients with global investment professionals and institutional partners. Since establishing its presence on Guam in November 2015, Raymond James has continued to strengthen financial services in Micronesia while expanding access to global resources.

The conference features a broad agenda designed to provide clients with direct access to expertise across capital markets, alternative investments, retirement planning, and emerging financial trends. Clients engaged in discussion with professionals from leading global firms, including Blackstone, KKR, Apollo, and other major investment partners. These interactions gave participants hands-on access to expertise typically not available in the region.

This year’s program featured discussions on topics such as artificial intelligence, alternative data, and evolving market strategies, ensuring clients are equipped with relevant insights, especially within an ever-evolving financial industry.

“This conference is a reflection of continued investment in Guam and the broader Micronesia region,” said Jason B. Miyashita, CRPS®, CIMA®, AIFA®, Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific Group of Raymond James. “Our goal is to ensure that our clients in the region have access to the same level of expertise and resources as any major market by bringing together global leaders and creating valuable opportunities for networking and insight.”
