Santa Rita, Guam – All forms of spearfishing along all shorelines and near shore waters on Naval Base Guam (NBG) are prohibited effective immediately due to a change in policy.

This policy will ensure the protection of service members, military families, base personnel and patrons.

Permitted fishing techniques in designated areas only include hook-and-line fishing from shoreline or boat, and cast netting from shorelines. Fishing is permitted in outer Apra Harbor and at Clipper Cove on NBG.
