30th COVID-19-related death reported on Guam

The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s thirtieth COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) Sept. 17 at approximately 1:37 a.m. (ChST). The patient was a 72-year-old male and had underlying health conditions.

Confirmed case of measles on Guam

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) received laboratory confirmation on a case of measles (rubeola).  The patient is a 10 month old child without travel history but with an epidemiological link to visitors from Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia to Guam.
