30th COVID-19-related death reported on Guam

The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s thirtieth COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) Sept. 17 at approximately 1:37 a.m. (ChST). The patient was a 72-year-old male and had underlying health conditions.

Konetzni Hall: COMSUBRON 15 dedicates building to historic submariner

Commander, Submarine Squadron Fifteen formally dedicated Konetzni Hall during a ceremony April 19, in Piti, Guam. The building, named after Vice Adm. (ret.) Albert Konetzni, has served as the CSS-15 and Naval Submarine Training Center Pacific Detachment Guam headquarters building since 2013 although it was never formally named.
