30th COVID-19-related death reported on Guam

The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s thirtieth COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) Sept. 17 at approximately 1:37 a.m. (ChST). The patient was a 72-year-old male and had underlying health conditions.

Deceased Fitzgerald Sailors posthumously advanced

WASHINGTON (NNS) -- The Navy announced Wednesday that the seven Sailors who died aboard USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62), were posthumously advanced to their next rank.

- Gunner's Mate Seaman Dakota Kyle Rigsby, 19, from Palmyra, Virginia, was posthumously advanced to Petty Officer 3rd class.
