The Guam Community College Foundation and First Hawaiian Bank encourage island runners, students, and anyone who wants to exercise to run for scholarships at the 6th annual John K. Lee, Jr. 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at the Chamorro Village in Hagatna. Proceeds from this 5K directly benefit GCC students in the form of multiple scholarships in honor of the late John K. Lee, Jr., former First Hawaiian Bank Guam and CNMI Senior Vice President/ Region Supervisor and GCC Foundation board member.
Race day check-in time is 5:00 a.m. and race start time is 6:00 a.m. Participants can register at Hornet Sporting Goods in Tamuning from 9 AM – 6 PM on November 9th. First Hawaiian Bank will also accept registrations at these locations on the following days:
• Maite: Thursday, November 8, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
• Dededo: Thursday, November 8, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
• Tamuning: Friday, November 9, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Entry fees are as follows:
Youth, juniors, & GCC students: $5 (race day $10)
Adult individual: $10 (race day $15)
Group of 4: $35 (race day $45)
Refreshments, entertainment, and prizes are all part of this very worthwhile event. The first 300 finishers
will receive a free t-shirt, and the grand raffle prize is one United Airlines roundtrip economy ticket for
travel between Guam and Micronesia, Japan, Hong Kong or Manila.
