850 Tourism Education Council W.A.V.E. Club Members make Håfa Adai Pledge history

(Friday, March 2, 2018) – More than 850 W.A.V.E. (Welcome All Visitors Enthusiastically) Club members, advisors and school administrators took the Håfa Adai Pledge at the Tourism Education Council’s (TEC) The Power of “I”: Inspire, Initiate, Innovate Islan Ideas Youth Xpo 2018 on Feb. 28 and Mar. 1, establishing its place in Håfa Adai Pledge (HAP) history as the largest pledge to date. Guam Visitors Bureau helped to kick off the programs during the two-day youth expo at the Guam Convention Center at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort – on Feb. 28 for 500 elementary and middle school members and on March 1 for 350 high school members. GVB proudly welcomes each new member to the program with a warm Håfa Adai and recognizes the TEC for their 30 years of service. Si Yu’os Ma’ase for educating the island’s youth about Guam’s number one industry.
