GCC CACGP upcoming April events

GCC’s College Access Challenge Grant Program has scheduled the following events for the month of April, for the benefit of Guam’s middle and high school students and their parents:

Wednesday, April 2 - Senior Transition Night
6:00 p.m., Room 5108, 1st Floor, Student Center
Introduction to GCC & UOG TRiO programs. Learn the process of transitioning from high school to college. Find out about the TRiO programs for student success, and the services, financial aid and college admissions process, and FREE summer programs. Learn more about CACGP's Grant Aid. Receive a FREE College Resource and Career Planning Booklet.

Saturday, April 5 - Youth Fest in partnership with Sanctuary, Inc.
3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Agat's Sagan Bisita
Learn about free community services for youth with CACGP partners. Guam's Youth Leaders and talented musicians and dancers will be recognized. Check out CACGP's booth for summer applications and grant aid information.

Saturday, April 12 - Senior Banquet
10:30 a.m. Westin Resort. RSVP at gcc.cacgp@guamcc.edu or contact 735-5565
CACGP will discuss the Grant Aid requirements to upcoming graduates, tips to applying for college and recognize CACGP's seniors who are good role models.

Monday, April 21- Financial Aid & Grant Aid Workshop
6:00 p.m. - Room 3114, AALG Allied Health Center
Familiarize yourself with financial aid terms, learn the types of funding available to pay for college and the steps to ensure your financial aid is processed and on time.
