Get ready for Reef Ranger Summer Camp July 29

This summer, War in the Pacific National Historical Park is proud to host the annual Reef Ranger Summer Camp. The Reef Ranger Summer Camp is a great opportunity for youths to learn about Guam, national park and about the precious marine resources while having fun.

Reef Rangers will spend the week with park rangers learning all about natural resources in and out of the water. Reef Rangers become ambassadors of theparks and they help fulfill the National Park Service mission of stewardship and preservation.

The Reef Ranger Summer Camp is free. Youths in 5th and 6th grades are eligible to join but you must register in order to participate. The Reef Ranger Summer Camp will occur on July 29 to August 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. To register, pick-up a packet at the T. Stell Newman Visitor Center in Sumay or email kina_lewis@nps.gov. The last day to submit a completed registration form is Monday, July 22. Space is limited, so don’t delay.
