(TAMUNING, Guam) Wednesday, July 1, 2026 - As students across Guam prepare for a new school year, GTA Gives is once again inviting the community to help ensure local children have the supplies they need to start the school year with confidence.

Now through July 31, donation boxes will be available at all GTA store locations for the company’s annual Back-to-School Supply Drive, benefiting Sanctuary, Inc.

For several years, GTA has hosted its annual Back-to-School Supply Drive to benefit various organizations as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting local families and helping students begin the school year equipped for success. Through the generosity of employees, customers, and community partners, the drive has helped provide essential school supplies to children across Guam who need them most.

This year’s drive will benefit Sanctuary, Inc., which recently merged with WestCare Pacific Islands (WPI). Together, they continue to support individuals and families across Guam by providing shelter, counseling, advocacy, and other essential services.

Community members are encouraged to donate new school supplies, including backpacks, notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, calculators, reusable water bottles, tissues, hand sanitizer, glue sticks, and other classroom essentials.

“At GTA, we believe every child deserves to start the school year feeling prepared and excited to learn,” said Michele Catahay Perez, Director of Community Relations at GTA. “This has become a meaningful tradition for our employees, customers, and community, who continue to show up year after year to support local families. We’re grateful to partner with Sanctuary and WestCare Pacific Islands to help ensure children have the supplies they need for a successful school year.”

Donations will be accepted at all GTA retail store locations through July 31.
