Guam Museum: Ha’anen Familia celebrates island safety with the Håfa Adai Pledge
(Tuesday, September 17, 2019) — The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) joined Håfa Adai Pledge member, Guam Museum, alongside the Guam Fire Department, Guam Police Department, and the Office of the Attorney General of Guam in welcoming participants of the Guam Museum: Ha’anen Familia safety event into the Håfa Adai Pledge Program on Saturday, September 14, 2019.
This month’s Guam Museum: Ha’anen Familia event focused on island safety. Presenters from the Guam Fire Department, Guam Police Department and the Office of the Attorney General of Guam shared detailed information and tips with participants on topics such as bullying prevention and civil, fire, and cyber safety. The event ended with the Guam Visitors Bureau and the Håfa Adai Pledge signing ceremony.
Guam Museum Sales and Marketing Manager, Pauline Okada, touched on the significance of the Håfa Adai Pledge sharing, “This Håfa Adai Pledge ceremony is the perfect way to culminate all the teachings of this event into action. Today, we make a promise to positively contribute to our island’s safety.”
