Hagåtña, Guam — August 24, 2026 — Junior Achievement Guam is encouraging high school students across the island to register for the 2026–2027 JA Company of the Year Program, with just three weeks remaining before the program begins on September 14.

JA Company of the Year gives students the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship firsthand by forming teams, developing business ideas, creating products or services, managing finances, marketing, selling, and competing alongside other student companies.

Throughout the program, students will work with business professionals and community mentors while developing skills in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, leadership, teamwork, communication, marketing, and career readiness.

“You do not need business experience to join—you just need an idea, curiosity, and the willingness to learn,” said Joshua Miller, Executive Director of Junior Achievement Guam. “This program gives students the opportunity to build something of their own while developing skills and connections that can help them well beyond high school.”

Top-performing students will also have the opportunity to work toward representing Guam at the JA Asia Pacific Company of the Year Competition in Indonesia.
