Tumon, Guam — The Nenpire Startup Series is back and is set to launch a dynamic, hands-on entrepreneurship program designed to equip young people with real-world business skills through experiential learning, creativity, mentorship, and innovation.
The Nenpire Startup Series invites youth participants (ages 7-13) to step into the role of entrepreneurs as they learn how to identify problems, develop solutions, and bring ideas to life through brainstorming, prototyping, financial planning, and communications. The program emphasizes learning by doing, giving students the opportunity to build confidence, meet and learn from local entrepreneurs in the community, and build a deeper understanding of how businesses are created and sustained.
Throughout the series, participants will engage in guided workshops led by industry professionals, and will culminate in a real-world marketplace experience where students showcase and sell their products to the community.
“The Nenpire Startup Series is about more than business—it’s about empowering young people to think creatively, solve problems, work hard, and believe in their ability to build something meaningful,” said Storm Piper, one of the Nenpire Program Organizers.
The initiative continues Puti’on Projects’ mission to strengthen youth development and sustainability in Guam through programs like The Nenpire and Famagu’on Farmers. This Summer’s program is supported by community partners Cars Plus Guam and Coast360 Federal Credit Union. Kids will learn) from mentors: LeAnn Crisostomo (owner of Fizz n Co), Abby Crain (Owner of The Blue Latitude), Rick Hernandez (Co-Founder of Totot Island), Roman Deal Cruz (Founder of Fokai), Coast360 Teen360 team, and Ronald Fuellas (Creative Director of D&R Marketing Agency).
