The University of Guam’s College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) will host the 2026 Psychology Research Colloquium on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the CLASS Lecture Hall on the UOG Campus.
The colloquium will showcase student-led research in psychology, with a special focus on the needs and narratives of Guam and neighboring islands. Presentations range from basic inquiry to clinical applications, highlighting research that reflects the sociocultural context of the Pacific while contributing to broader psychological discussions.
This event plays an important role in supporting student scholarship and research engagement, providing a professional space for students to share original work, engage in academic dialogue, and strengthen research skills essential to future academic and professional pathways. Members of the academic community are invited to engage with student researchers, participate in scholarly discussion, and support the next generation of psychologists. The event is designed to inspire continued student involvement in research and promote academic inquiry within island communities.
