Whenever I find myself driving in Barrigada on Purple Heart Highway I tend to slow down to glance at Nit’s Thai Cuisine to see if there are any parking slots. I did find a parking space today at lunch and was delighted to find out that there was plenty of seating available inside Nit’s.

One of the newer Thai restaurants to open in Tumon is Thai Noodle Cuisine, now open for just over 4 months. I'd been meaning to stop by sooner and I'm glad we finally did. Ideally located in the busy Park Arcade across from the Hyatt Regency, Thai Noodle Cuisine is clean with comfortable seating in a well air-conditioned dining room.
Thai Smoothie & Grill is one of Guam’s secret getaways or should I say “takeaways,” because that’s what you do! There’s no where to eat at this quaint road-side stand that can get kind of dusty on a dry windy day.
We had been meaning to stop by Mai Thai for a few months now and waited until we returned from Bangkok to try it out. We did and were for the most part quite impressed. One notable thing about this restaurant’s ambiance is authenticity of its furniture.
