Where to eat sweets: Meskla Chamoru Fusion Bistro in Hagåtña
Since its open in 2009, Meskla has provided Chamoru Fusion Cuisine. Executive Chef Peter Duenas takes Guam’s cuisine to new levels, incorporating the old with the new.
“Here at Meskla, we carry some of the local familiars with a twist – like our popular champalado creme brulee, latiya, banana lumpia ala mode, bonelos aga’ ala mode (banana dumplings), and apigigi hot cakes with coconut caramel sauce,” says Duenas.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 5:30 - 9:30 p.m.;
Saturday, 5:30 - 9:30 p.m.; Sunday Brunch, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
