Camp Blaz hosts graduation ceremony for first command-sponsored Corporal's Course

U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jamesky Blanchard, Gung-Ho award recipient from the first command-sponsored Corporal’s Course at Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz, displays his award during a graduation ceremony hosted by the base on August 31, 2023. The Gung-Ho award is determined by the members of Corporal’s Course and is given to the Marine who possesses the intellectual honesty and moral courage to put aside self-interest for the good of their unit. The base held an inter-service course inviting all service members on Guam. Blanchard is a native of Peachtree Corners, Ga., and serves as a property clerk for Camp Blaz.
