A remarkable thing happened when I stopped in Lemai this past Monday (which was a GovGuam holiday for our Lady of Camarin). There was only one other person there (I had actually phoned in my order from the bank) when I arrived and I sat down next to her at the counter.

“Chocho, Gimen Yan Gosa I Minagof” (“Eat, Drink and Enjoy the Happiness!”) is the perfect motto for the recently opened and relocated Terry’s Local Comfort Food restaurant, now housed in the odd-shaped building previously occupied by Sushi Ebisu Japanese Restaurant.

Everything good I've heard about Crust Pizzeria was confirmed tonight in my first bite of a California Style Pizza called the Salsiccia. Why did I choose this pizza instead of one of the Pizzas I'd meant to try that was cooked Naples Style in an 800F degree wood fired Pizza Oven?

I need to put this in context. I had not yet eaten at Mosa's new location. My arrival was a long time coming and way overdue. In fact, I didn't go there to write a review and didn't expect that I'd be eating my late lunch here.

It was about 9:45 p.m. when I left my office and drove quickly over to Old Town Chinese in Upper Tumon after I called and verified they would still be open to serve me dinner!

One thing that PROA has created that I will never get tired of eating is their exceptional barbecue! It is not your typical local barbecue - they have fashioned their marinade in what they call Marianas Glaze. I had the Big Feller Trio ($18.95) the other night just before they closed.
