This month we celebrate Chamorro Month! Biba Chamoru! Biba Guahan! I don't think there's any better way to celebrate being on this island than to eat what's grown on this island - fresh produce! I am always impressed by what our local farmers have been able to produce on this small island in the middle of the ocean.

Ron’s Diner is the realized dream of a guy who not only loves to eat, but whose passion is to make others happy eating too! I deliberately listed the hours of operation for Ron’s Diner since we made the mistake of going to eat there on Saturday, when they are CLOSED.

Thanks to social media, namely Facebook, I was able to find out that Nami Restaurant had re-opened and changed its menu to specialize in making outstanding “donburi” (rice bowl) selections.

Gabriel's House of Pasta has branched out into the "big leagues" of Tumon by opening Gabriel's Restaurant in the Tumon Bay Center, next to Collosseum and down the hall from Kracked Egg & L&L Hawaiian BBQ.

It was a wet and dreary Thursday and I needed some hot soup, preferably kadu! Where to go? You got it – Lemai! Yes, you better get there early or call ahead and reserve, because they’ve got one of the best beef shank kadu’s on island.
