It seems that Hagatna is definitely experiencing a culinary renaissance! As mentioned in today's newsletter intro, Guam is about to have a "bona fide" New York Style Delicatessen, which is set to open as soon as next week (if not today). This is another dream realized by Chef Peter Duenas and his wife/partner Monica.

The "buzz" about Kitchen Lingo has been going around the island for the past few weeks since they started soft opening menu tastings. Now officially open, they have received enthusiastic praise and high marks from lunch and dinner customers.

One of the newer Thai restaurants to open in Tumon is Thai Noodle Cuisine, now open for just over 4 months. I'd been meaning to stop by sooner and I'm glad we finally did. Ideally located in the busy Park Arcade across from the Hyatt Regency, Thai Noodle Cuisine is clean with comfortable seating in a well air-conditioned dining room.

It was really happenstance that we stopped by Meskla Dos today. When Saipan Chef Donn Gueniot of the Paradise Hotel came to Guam to visit our showroom, the question of where to eat lunch arose.

The fabulous Middle Eastern Nights dinner buffet wrapped up at the Pacific Star Café last week. This was a fantastic spread of sensational Middle Eastern cuisine, most of it inspired by Tunisian native guest chef Adam Sebouai.

Prepare to enter a brave new world of exotic tastes and flavors. Take a magic carpet ride (after puffing your hookah) and land in the center of Tumon on the 4th floor deck of Pacific Star Cafe’s terrace which has been transformed to a Middle Eastern fantasy!
