It seems hard to believe that my review of Sushi Tairyo in December 2001 didn’t have a single photo of sushi! I had to compensate with words – tons of words describing every aspect of the sushi experience.

While I didn’t miss the annual Cinco de Mayo Mexican food celebration in Pago Bay this year (as I did while in Korea last year), I still found myself with a residual craving for some south of the border eats! It was almost a year ago that we went to Caliente and ate Huevos Rancheros, Tamales, and their savory Mexican Pizza!

The Kracked Egg has finally hatched after what seemed to be an interminably long gestation in getting their doors open. But, oh, what a magnificent and wonderful place this is (or has the potential to become)!

Over the years I’ve had many occasions to visit The Point lobby lounge at the Sheraton Laguna Guam Resort for a meeting where I had a Starbuck’s coffee drink or a glass of wine, however, it wasn’t until recently that I finally got the “point” of The Point, and it had to do with some compellingly good eats.

I have to say thank you to Tad Miller for prompting and urging me to try the food at Bangkok Cuisine, certainly one of the newest and latest additions to our substantial list of Thai restaurants, of which there are nearly 20.
