It’s great to be back on Guam! I just returned from an action-packed two-week trip (some holiday, some work) to the mainland where I visited family in Houston, Texas and in Tampa, Fla. I had not been in Florida in over 50 years.

I heard through the Thai grapevine some time last year (perhaps August or September) that there were several new Thai restaurants opening up. A GuamDiner.com reader contacted me and mentioned that Areunda Thai had opened and that the food was pretty good. That was enough of an endorsement to prompt a lunchtime visit.
